Winemaker’s Notes

Our close friend, Guillermo Herrera and his Vineyard Management Company operate out of Meigs Vineyard. Not surprisingly, it is a stunning and exceptionally well farmed vineyard. Caymus, Sterling (for their Iridium Cabernet) and other famed wineries buy grapes from this vineyard. Guillermo hooked us up with two excellent blocks that make up our 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon. Please don’t tell anyone, but we received very special treatment!

Tasting Notes

Dark and rich with ripe cherry fruit and soft, smooth tannins.

Aged 20 months in 40% new French oak barrels and 60% 1 year barrels.
